Norwalk is made up of a collection of diverse
neighborhoods and communities. In the southwest corner bordering Darien lies Rowayton, abutting both
Darien and New Canaan in the northwest corner is West Norwalk, the northeast corner next to Wilton and
Westport is known as Cranbury, and East Norwalk is also adjacent to Westport in the southeast corner of
the city. Between West Norwalk and Cranbury is the Silvermine section, and South Norwalk encompasses a
large area between Rowayton and East Norwalk. And there are many other areas and communities within
Norwalk known by their own unique name - Broad River, Harbor View, Norwalk Center, Shorefront Park,
Village Creek, Wilson Point, and Winnipauk, to name a few.
While most of our neighborhoods don't contain high-class establishments like the
Britannia Royal Albion Hotel Brighton,
many areas of town offer comfortable accommodations for visitors.
We have collected links to some of the web sites pertaining to our various neighborhoods and listed them
below. Feel free to suggest a link
if you know of another site that we should be listing here. Also, browse the ACT
list of Neighborhood Associations or the Norwalk Neighborhoods web site for a more exhaustive list.
